Was invited to a baseball game at Skeeters Park. Super excited, we are going to have a blast. Usually when I go with her to anything or just hanging out at her house we have a blast!!

RETROPOLIS

Im in love this place! Its a thrift store/boutique in The Heights that sells about anything from the 80s, 90s, 00s. This place brings the eras together in a way that rocks your world! I love this place did I mention that already?? BUT YEAH, check it out on an early Saturday. When you have a car and are in the mood to spend but not too crazy chicas. You know we all have our own banks that do not need to break.

Whats More your Style?? ( BACK TO SCHOOL LOOK BOOK)

        I DIE FOR CLOTHING! 

I have to say my style is very over the place I love fashion and I love clothes I cant help it! Today I came up with a few looks for the school year. Any suggestion for what I should wear  the first day of school? 

So I've come up with themes for each look. Which one fits you?:

*"Herbal" Essence: Hippie  Boho Look

* "Look at her outfit": FABULOUS

I love this cool, calm and collective look. It shows that your way relaxed because of the color tones that are shown. But, it also makes a statement without it looking like you tried to hard. Its perfect! 

                                                                                 

 

"Howdy Yall!" : Western Girl Look
I don't know what tempted me to buy this skirt two Fridays ago at a Thrift Shop. I think it was the fact that it had boots on it, and that it was something different something you don't see all the time. Now, you can either wear with the black boots that I have placed here or I was even thinking of a brown cowboy boot to Soften the look!

I always get compliments when I wear this dress, because of my big frizzy hair it makes it stand out more and I look exactly like Pocahontas! When it comes to the fact that, It gives it that spiritual vibrancy that any girl would look good in. I paired it off with a cute braided headband. As you probably have noticed I didn't add shoes... something about this look just says BAREFOOT. Which.. I know I won't be able to do... shoe suggestions?? 

* Egyptian Paradise: Nubian Look 
I love this look because of the tribal patterns shirt which I got from Retropolis ( A cool thrift/ boutique store) and the fact that it adds a cool rough look to it. It reminds me of Egypt and I love that look I paired it off with these cute sandals that I got from Fergie's line of shoes and clothing called Fergalicious. 

* "Can I meet you at that Coffee Shop?" : Indie Girl Folk Look

I love this look especially with the cool funky specs that i had paired them with. I also have my cute boots that are Mens Uggs. I didn't even know that they had made Mens Uggs until I went and found these in Marshalls! I love this outfit only problem is that its too hot to wear that cute Leather Jacket from H&M and the dress is TOO sheer. LIKE LITERALLY I tried it on and my red underwear sure enough peekaboo-ed right through it! I would have to find a slip a white one perferbly to wear under it. 

Did I mention I'm like in love with those shoes?? 

"Look at her outfit": FABULOUS 

I just love this look it mixes all of the other looks above into one. It really describes my style! I love to go way out there with patterns as these shoes from Charlotte Russe show and to add a little more color to balance them out, I coupled them up with these cute brown Zara jeans! I love this shirt and even though crosses are slowly going out of style, I'm not afraid to rock it out with this lovely ensemble. Since, it does get chilly in school, I added a jean jacket to complete the look!

The Closet Disaster and a Successful Day of Shopping

   

Yep, it's that time of the year when every teenager gets ready to renew themselves in their own style. Yesterday, I went crazy with only 200$! I went to the thrift stores in The Heights. A place of high fashion with a mixture of free spirits, the wealthy, and the hipsters. Meaning of course there would be some sort of Thrift Stores down there!! I went crazy to come home around six  and look at this disaster. I mean at least I had found new clothing! And not only at theft stores but at the boutiques too! I was a proud fashionista that day. Sigh... 

This only shows that I need to clean this closet before ANYTHING reaches the insides of it.

  My first Blog! Well.. the first one in a long time. I'm not as new to the whole blogging scene as much as I tell myself otherwise. When I think of blogging and my past with it, I think of unfinished business. ( The tumblr phase) Yes, as I sit in my chair though, for some strange reason I feel like Jenna from "Awkward." Any reason why? Anywho! I wanted to start this blog as a way to start a new life, just getting out of a relationship, you have to find things that interest you again, or things that you  felt like you couldn't do because of obstacles. THIS ISNT THAT KIND OF STORY.

   So I remember finding this cute website called the lookbook.nu! I would scroll through that thing like crazy, just looking at the gorgeous people for inspiration. Until finally just recently I joined! It felt like agonizing days even though, it was just maybe hours before I finally saw people hitting that hype button. I have to admit I screamed for joy as I saw that HYPE number go up and up. You would've thought I belonged in some mental institution! So I thought to myself, I can't just put up my old rags of Tumblr posts that have posts of what used to be... I want to start over and do stuff that I like. Start blogging for myself and whoever is willing to listen. And henceforth... Cupcakes and Pizza is born!
